Analysis Purposes

Data is collected and used for analysis purposes. This data processing is not personalized (see the information about cookies below).

Registration

When registering, the user’s email address and a password are stored. If a purchase is made afterward, the email address is linked with the data collected during the purchase process. The data you provide is necessary for setting up the user account. Data processing takes place for the duration of the user account. When the user account is deleted, the email address, password, and the link to the purchase data are deleted.

IT Security

In addition, log files are stored when visiting this website, containing the IP address and other data related to access to the website (e.g., date, time, user agent, referrer). Data processing is time-limited (maximum 30 days) and only serves to secure against DDOS attacks or other intrusions into the functionality of the website and any underlying database systems.

Legal Basis for Data Processing

Data on the website is processed solely on the basis of legal regulations (GDPR, TKG 2003). Data processing (webshop, product reviews, booking tool, and user account) is carried out based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b) (contract fulfillment purposes) GDPR.

In the case of using analytical tools, data usage is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f) (legitimate interest) GDPR. The legitimate interest in using data is the improvement of the website as well as measuring the success of online advertising.

The use of IT security measures is also based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f) (legitimate interest) GDPR. The legitimate interest in data usage is securing the own IT systems.

The use of social media plugins occurs only after consent. The legal basis is therefore Art. 6 (1) lit. a) GDPR. Consent must be granted again on each visit to the website.

Your Rights

You generally have the right to access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, withdrawal, and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in another way, you can file a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.
